Hello all from Glasgow!
I'm getting a new kitchen in two weeks, will be professionally installed by a team.
I've started to remove the top cupboards because I want to paint the ceiling before the new ones go up.
One cupboard has a socket glued -? I can't see any screws - on top.
How can I remove the socket ( just from the cupboard) please, without electrocuting myself lol?
Here are pictures, Tia for any advice.

The sockets pattress will be screwed to the top of the cabinet.

You would need to turn the power off, then remove the 2 screws that hold the socket to the pattress lift the socket up to reveal the screws that hold the pattress to the cabinet.

Thanks so much @mainline, the socket is so covered with paint that I could not see the screws.
I will turn the power off tomorrow and proceed as you say.
Btw, I had to Google socket pattress haha! :D
