Discuss RF Remote Switch for TV in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net

Wiring first fix in a new build. All TVs will be flat screen wall mounted with the mains connection behind the TV. Obviously there will be an isolation switch on the wall below accessible for switching off power to the TV. What I want to achieve is what a normal 'standby saver' achieves whereby when you press the power button on the remote, it switches off the mains supply and doesn't just put the TV on standby.

Is there any hard wired solution for this which could be installed next to the main isolation switch?
