Evening All,

hopefully i I can explain this without going around in circles. I work for a youth group and we have recently taken deliver of a container unit which we plan to use for working on DIY projects with the young people. When we ordered the container there was option so I added an electrical pack with comprised of: 2x5m strip lighting and 2x double sockets with cable to connect to generator.

In in the container there is a fuse board with light and sockets on seep rate rings and on the outside of the container an isolator switch we rugged cable going in a 32amp plug. The generator we have to power this has a max output of 2000 but only has 2 13 amp sockets on it. We do have a 16 amp to 13 amp adaptor and then realised there was a difference in size from 32 to 16 amp plug/socket.

I would be greatful for options but also advice on my thoughts which would be to get a 32 amp to 16 amp adapter and connect it all up. Using this option if it would work what sort of output would I expect from the sockets inside? Not expecting to run more than one plug at a time but if I have an idea of what I can expect as an output that would be great.

Thanks,

Owen
