Hello all,

I'm renovating my kitchen and had a question about running wire around ductwork.

In attached pictures - I need to have a receptacle and a dedicated dishwasher line to the right of the ductwork. However, there is no good way to avoid the ductwork without running about 40 feet of additional wire to go up, around and back down to the basement.

I already ran the dishwasher line. See picture. This didn't seem like it would be up to code. I don't want wire touching the ductwork. I can go over or under the ductwork, but either way there is not much room.

Someone mentioned putting some pink insulation in between the wire and duct, but it still seems like it would be too close to the drywall once I do the basement ceiling. Should I staple it anywhere near the ductwork?

Thanks,
Nick
