Does anybody know how to determine the kw rating of a shower when there are no readable labels on it, if i go to check installation and find shower in 6mm but can't determine visually rating of shower what do u do??????????????????

It is impossible to give accurate, turn shower on full heat on slow shower speed (If fitted), then tong test at the shower end, not dis board. If its on a 32a breaker it will be probably be less than 32a, leave it on for half/hour ;-)...so it's 7kw or less,, and if mr part p says it aint take him to court. Make sure you take reading on high spike voltage 230 minimum, cos if you measure at say 220v you are bang on border line.

If the shower is on a 45a breaker, change it for a 32
