Do I need to register my Inverter for the warranty? I read the service information which mentions a warranty certficate (which I don't possess), it also mentions submitting a purchase invoice with a warranty claim. My purchase invoice just states Supply and installation of PV system Paid in full, no specifics.

as long as the invoice is dated, I'd think that'd be ok, as they'll mostly be using it as a start date for the warranty period.

It does raise another question as to whether all invoices should be itemised, we have itemised ours from the start down to the last nut and bolt, this is however down to our accountancy and stock control package not because we thought it is what the customer needed.

I'm sure sunny dots has something to do with warranty ! As this take the serial number and location of inverter !
