Please can anyone recommend a smart dimmer module for use with Aurora LED GU10s that remembers the dim setting on loss of power so that the lights don't come back on full brightness (or, even worse, remain off) when power is restored? Ideally Wi-Fi controlled. There isn't sufficient space in the back box for a module and there are only neutral, switched live and earth in the ceiling void.
TIA

Does it need to be the dimmer you change rather than the lamp? I have had Philips hue at home for over 3 years now and they have had zero issues, although expensive I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again .

Many thanks for your reply.
I have had issues in the past with GU10s not all being equal and had standardised on the Aurora lamps a they fit in the downlighters in my home with no issues. As you say, the Hue lamps are VERY expensive and I am not certain that they will fit. Are you able to tell me the depth from the back of the housing to the front rim? I assume that they remember their settings when turned off. I have to admit that I like the hue remote wireless dimmer. I understand that a bridge is not essential; am I correct? I suspect that adding a bridge will add another level of complexity in terms of equipment compatibility (or not).
