Just had my Stroma CPS assessment this afternoon. It went really well! The chap was very thorough, but having all the paperwork ready for him on the kitchen table (and a recently-boiled kettle) helped. Nice to have an intelligent technical conversation with someone - actually enjoyed it in the end.

Right, off to the pub for a drop of dinner!

Great stuff, are you full scope or domestic?

Domestic. I do a little commercial work for one or two customers, but I didn't have enough to show them for my assessment as they're usually small jobs.

Well Done steve I had my assessment last Monday everything went smoothly, got email today saying it was under review and now waiting for the outcome.

Well done you..and welcome aboard! They are a tad slow off the mark getting your welcome pack to you but it's worth the wait.
I hadn't appreciated just how big (and diverse) STROMA is. It's not just electrical stuff!!!
And yes, I agree with others, the 'audit' is more thorough that ELECSA. The inspector wasn't quite so severe as some of the ELECSA ones I've experienced in the past!
The on-line certification system is a bit of a faff though...as I'm sure you'll find out before long!
