Imagine me, in my car wanting to listen to loud music, i turn it up and bam it cuts outs. I soon find out that i can make it work again by turning it off and on but putting the volume above 25 shuts it off again everytime without fail. well thats ----ing annoying right.

I go to my amp and replug everything, same ---- happening, I take out my headunit and replug everything, boom, doesnt work at all now, real ----ing cool, the headunit is detecting the music (seen through the visualizer) but the amp or speakers are not working, i got to the amp and start poking a multimeter around, IT WORKS!!!! nevermind it doesnt. it works when i give power to the accessory wire (not sure of the name but the wire that ensures the amp is only on when the car is).

Okay thats weird, but i follow the wire, using my trusty multimeter, checking every break in the wire still works and all the joins are good, and they are. Then i approach the harness, this is where everything goes to ----. i look, the pin that connects this wire is there, but in the harness there is no contact in the female part? This makes zero sense, how was it working before? theres no chance the wire fell out, the bundle of wires that connect to the harness were taped up and there is no wire dangling from the tape?

The solution is obvious find an alternative power source for the accessorie wire, but like how the ---- was my amp working in the first place.

Furthermore not sure if its related but my headunit is sparking when it touches a ground point, and is not turning on unless it touches a ground point. This does not seem normal, yet also does not seem related.

TL;DR
amp cuts out when volume to high, inspect headunit harness, doesn't work at all now, realize the amp is not getting power through the accessory wire, the accessory wire connections are all good but one, where it connects to a harness that connects to nothing?!.
I think you should go to a good auto electrician and let them loose on it before you set fire to the car.
