im trying to source a suspended el led with no arrow and ideally only have “fire exit” written on it.
Any help appreciated
Thanks

That would explain why i cant find one then, suprised the fire officer didnt know this, does the sign have to have an arrow?
Any signage you purchase now will almost certainly comply to ISO16069. Most manufacturers have decided to follow this standard to aline things as previously you had BS5499, the Safety Signs Directive and then ISO16069, totally confusing with guidance not to mix standards within an installation. You will probably need an Up arrow if the route leads to a flat or upward route.

I believe arrows are no longer allowed to point down.
Left, right or up for straight on.
Many can be purchased with stick on decals, so can be left blank or have the decals affixed however you wish.

A down arrow can be used I believe if after the signage there is a downward staircase or drop in floor level. Then again something as simple as signage was made so confusing this may have changed.
