if its tn-s the earthing clamp will be clearly attached to the incoming cable sheath, if its tnc-s the earth will be connected at the main knock out .

TN-C-S is where the electricity supplier provides a combined protective earthing & neutral conductor as part of a protective multiple earthing system
TN-S is where the electricity supplier provides a protective earthing conductor (usually the metalic covering of the supply cable)that is separate from the neutral conductor.

This is not always the case. We have been to numerous properties in our line of work, where there is no main earthing conductor and it looks like TN_C_S system, however there is nothing actually there to say it is.
