Hi guys, I'm new to the forum.

To start off, I live in Glasgow and I am currently in my fourth year of my apprenticeship and my boss wants me to to sit my trade test.

Long story short,

During my first 2 and a half years I worked for a big company in Glasgow who where through the SJIB and SECTT although I left them due to certain circumstances and started working for a guy who works by himself. I only just found out that I've missed the last phase of college, one week of testing. My boss says he isn't bothered about that, I should still be able to sit my trade test. I doubt I can, my log book is all completed and I do testing all the time.

Can I still my trade test or have I just wasted my time doing my apprenticeship? This guy doesn't work by SJIB or SECTT. One man band as they say.

Any help would be appreciated.
