Hi guy's
Just wondering, what kind of stock you keep on your vans and levels.
When things got quiet last year I let mine dwindle, but now things are picking up, I shall stock it up again. Trouble is I have a habit of trying to get everything in there :D

To save starting another thread I'll also ask what standard range wiring accessories are folk using now? Still sticking to MK, or using cheaper gear to keep costs down?

You can tell I'm getting bored.

Just keep a few bits, box of pendants, sockets, switches, usual consumable stuff like a cooker point, a reel of 2.5 and 1.5 T&E, 3 core, few metres of 6mm, 6,10 and 16mm earth cable, bonding clamps, MCB's an RCD few odd lengths of tails etc. If i get a big job like a rewire i get all the gear i need without using stuff in van.

Try to keep the weight down due to cost of fuel, but just have enough to stop me running off to the wholesalers every job.

Cheers.......Howard

Being not domesticated 200m of 185mm 3½ core won’t fit in a van!
Sorry if I’m being un-respectful to you domestic lads. But I can’t help it.

Thought i'd dig this thread up as a cheap CU for van stock and that tight arse customer.
You know that company that has a name of securing things together, well item no: 33074 does not seem to bad.
