Hi - been to fix a lamp today with a loose connection in the lovely terminal blocks. Then I noticed there's a brass lamp holder with no earth terminal and the earth is cut back in the wall. There's 4 of these fittings (8 lamps) in the room and they're probably all the same. Any suggestions for a fix would be most welcome :) .

New brass lamp holders with cpc terminals and rewire i guess :( unless you can find bakerlite type ones that the fake candle wax sleeve will fit over

GAWD! them lampshades and that wallpaper. soooo 70's. YUK.

Possible that may do it Kev as the thread aperture looks bigger than the 10mm, 1/2 inch you normally get pity it doesn't say.

I see that there are two cables behind that lamp.
No cpc continuity then!
