You'll want a good dust extractor too as they are very messy, a scutch chisel is the best

All a chaser does it cut 2 lines and you chisel the middle out but for most jobs they're just too messy, dust everywhere, i use a scutch chisel on the sds, its a comb like chisel and is very accurate, and hardly any dust

Thanks m8 will give it a go but the guaging eye is a little bit wonkey know, old age :o

I use a circular cutter, like a mini angle grinder, to cut two grooves, then use either an SDS or a scutch hammer to chop out the middle - I tape my vac to it and it gets rid of most of the dust.
A lot of people are using the Fein Multimaster which is much less messy and can do all sorts of other fancy things.
