Hi All,

I've been continuously been installing Warmup's UFH cable kits for the last 2 years. Next week I have a job that requires me to lay the Warmup UFH mat kit(s).

Anything I should know or are they easy enough? Some tell me they are easier than the cable kits. Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

I've done a few over the years, easier than cable kits. in areas where the matting won't fit perfectly simply pull the cabke of the mesh and treat it like a kit.

also get yourself a tin of spray adhesive and use it as a primer to stick the mat down or tape. not sure if warm up mats are sticky or have double sided tape on.

I also find it easier to roll the matting the shortest width rather than long ways with the room, for example if the room was 2x5m then I would fit the mat along the 2m section, becuase when you get to the end it's easier to deal with any excess or shortfall.

They're easier than the cable which is a maul on large floors. You're 7 posts away from getting into the electricians arms, and once you have access to there, you'll find details to get a VERY good discount from our forum sponsors, uheat.co.uk. Please do get in touch with them. They're a really good firm to partner with.
