I am wanting to complete the nvq level 3 in less than a year,I have been told people have done it in two to three months or 2 years I definitely don't want to do it in two years I have a good work ethic

How long depends on what experience and qualifications you already have. For example, have you already been working in the industry with practical experience, or is everything new. Plus what is the aim - just a means to get a gold card, or a pre-requirement for starting some other qualification, or do you hope to have enough experience to start your own company, etc?

My want is just to get the gold card ASAP I've heard some people completing this in two to 4 months and want to do the same. Everything for me would be new however

If everything is new for you there is absolutley no point in rushing it. Realistically you'll end up having no clue what your doing and struggling to hold down a job. Take your time and do it properly and take the time to learn on site and develop your skills. Rome wasn't built in a day
