Hope someone out there might have an idea of the best product for the job.... Basically our honeywell st7100 gave up the ghost this evening, I've adjusted the wiring so that both the room stat and cylinder stat control the boiler so we have hot water and heating for now, the zone valve has been stuck in the central position for a couple of weeks anyway, so will have to replace that but basically we want a wireless system that can control both.

Had a look on google and saw the honeywell sundial rf systems, but its not too clear what bits and bobs we need to have a working system. Don't want a hive or nest or any faddy control from your phone stuff cos we won't ever use the features. Any help much appreciated!

Honeywell rf3 pack, the zone valve etc still has to wire back to the programmer. Rf3 pack comes with wireless room thermostat and wireless cylinder thermostat and the programmer is the receiver. Personally I would just replace the programmer with a Honeywell st9400c and fit a Honeywell dt92e wireless thermostat and keep the cylinder stat hard wired to the wiring centre.

Brilliant cheers! programmer wiring is in the cupboard with the cylinder so i'll just go with the second option. Don't do much heating stuff if I can help it. Thankyou!

No probs. just out of interest I had a little snoop and found this bit of kit called delta dore wireless 2 channel programmer for £130 notes. Looks a good bit of kit if you want to control the hot water wirelessly.

I like that, the feature for being able to program the heating for different temps on the timer setting is good, nice big display and looks simple enough for her indoors to operate too haha

Its not bad money either IMO, 2channel programmer and wireless room thermostat all built in to that 1 unit. Just have to alter the wiring centre and wire in the receiver :)

Wiring centre needs sorting anyway as I had remove all the programmer wiring to get the boiler and pump running just on the signals from the stats so will go for that one, Thanks for your help!
