Been to look at a job that has been first fixed and needs second fixing ( Builder gone bust)

The chap has wired for Sky or wants to. Outside at the place where there will be a dish is 2 co axials

a point in the kitchen for a tv with 2 co axials a main point for a tv in the lounge where i assume there will be

a receiver box and there is about 6 co axials where the mains cables are coming out ? ie the dis board .

looked online as I have never done this sort of thing before and is a site sky for caravans has anyone

got any ideas or a link to an Idiots guide to wire ing up sky Tv . I assume its something i could do ? or at least

connect up

Should have two from the dish to main sky box, then other points in other rooms can feed off the spare output on the back of sky box (via amp if necessary), or if theres two sky boxes to go in , they need at least one coax to the dish, though its often two nowadays for sky plus

I think you would need to bell out all the cables to see where each one goes, with two cables at the dish position I would asume it was intended to use a dish with a dual LNB to provide two Sky feeds you will probably have a coax to the loft or roof for a terrestrial tv aerial

Some sites that may help you, they have TV distribution diagrams
