In Germany, but question is for home in UK :)
So, been out of this for some time, I am putting in the wiring (approx 12 meters) for a 7Kw (28Amp not allowing for diversity) induction Hob. Every thing seems to indicate 6mm cable, however from the IEE Current ratings table 4E2A, for clipping direct Method C or free air Method E, 4mm appears to be more than adequate (45-49 Amp).
Under floor wired, up through cabinet rear to isolator switch.
Is 4mm acceptable or Have I missed something?
