The lights in my "Diamond-X-collection" bathroom cabinet aren't working. That's the lights incorporated into the mirror and the ones that illuminate the cabinet interior. The latter are a rack of 9 led's in a line (ref K346B 150*12 3C3P but no specs). I have tried a couple of different replacement LED drivers. The one that came with the cabinet has a reference #KED12W1200R17 and spec constant current 1200mA DC 6-12V. Although that does show output volts and current on my cheap multimeter the lights don't come on. I've tried a cheap LED driver from the local electrical factors with a similar spec, two of the interior led's flickered on with this; and I tried a Ecopac ELED-40P-C300/1400T constant current driver set the DIP switches to 1200mA with this a couple of led's flickered on briefly. I emailed the distributors of D-X-C cabinets they tried to be helpful but eventually came back with they do not have anything that matches the spec of the led driver that came with the cabinet, all the LED drivers they have are constant voltage. The imputation is that the driver is just the wrong one. So can anyone suggest what sort of spec driver I might try to get the lights working? Thx a lot

I'm assuming that the lights have worked in the past, and have stopped working since? That being so, and assuming the driver is the correct one, this might be a problem with one or more of the LEDs. In theory, connecting the driver output across the individual LEDs could identify which work and which don't, however in practice this may not be feasible. Even if you can suss which work, you then have to replace the dodgy one(s) which isn't going to be easy.

Thanks for that P-M. Yes the lights stopped working. It certainly won't be possible to test or replace any individual LED's, or any of the led's incorporated in the mirror. The strip of 9 led's that is the illumination for the interior of the cabinet looks like a fairly standard component that could be replaced as a whole, if I can find a similar one. The testing so far indicates it is at least partly aok.

If you can't replace the Led strip/s along with a suitable driver, then it's a poor show of the manufacturer.

I've repaired a fair few of the led back illuminated mirrors, it's always a fail of the leds and not the driver.

Yeah that makes sense with what I've tried so far @mainline. The distributors couldn't come up with the 9 led strip that lights the cabinet interior, that's easily replaced if I can find one. However the internal mirror lights seem completely inaccessible - it seems to be factory sealed together.
