We had this feature some time ago but I removed it when Facebook was found to be selling the data they collected without informing the users of what was happening.
Thankfully that dirty side of the industry has been called out on and now shouldn't exist. I can't guarantee what the big techies do myself, I don't have social media, but if you do then your data is already in their hands and in that case perhaps linking your forum account to their systems may give you some extra benefits and allow you to quickly login the forum etc.

We've had our Electrical Videos section running for a while now and we proudly host a massive 4 videos. Whaaaat? Only 4?!?!

Wondering if we can all give this a bit of a nudge and add all and any electrical videos you have on your devices. Perhaps you have already added them to YouTube or some other media site and can simply quickly embed them to our forum so our members can comment on them without needing to be registered to the existing host etc.

Here are ElectriciansForums.net (formerly ElectriciansForums.co.uk) we've tried a few times to get some kind of workable article system linked in with the forum software we use. We use the worlds best forum software, and opted for the worlds best 'blogging' (news) software, WordPress.
We cleverly managed to hook up the two so that members of the forum could reply to articles we posted to the WordPress blog (electricians news site) - although it was clunky and cumbersome. And to be frank, people could tell it wasn't a forum thread and opted to see...

You can also use ad-blockers. That's fine with me.
Another way before today was to ensure your post quality was awesome, and you'd automatically get stuck in the Esteemed Member group, which had about 75% less ads than everybody else (it should have been nearer 90% less but I'd screwed something up - sorry about that!).
Though from today, those with X amount of posts should get no Google ads. The X is a figure that today right now is set at 1000 posts. So the day a person hits 1000...

There's now a toggle in each main orange forum category, click it, it'll minimise all forums within it for you.
You can always toggle back if you want to look for a forum you think might be in one.
This will NOT hide the posts from Whats New tab etc. It just literally lets your browse the forum homepage quicker.
There are some forums that are setup for SEO and whatnot, that just don't warrant keeping really and I'll soon shift them around a bit and confuse you all again but until then, toggle them. :)
