Hi, I'm converting my garage into a room, which means the electric meter is being moved outside. With the same move, I want to move the EV charger CU from the garage to outside, as currently the EV charger tails come from the helney block fed by the mains isolator next to the meter. can anyone suggest a suitable EV charger consumner unit that can be placed outdoors, idealy it will go next to the new electric meter box, and this will then feed the EV charging point. thanks

the only way of putting the EV charger CU out side is to put in a extra utility box next to the meter box.

There are lots of IP rated consumer units on the market, such as this Ip66 rated one;

Those IP rated exterior consumer units referred to are not fit for purpose IMHO. Second meter box for me
The IP rating refers only to water penetration and the size of physical holes in the enclosure. It does not refer to corrosion resistance or the effects of ultraviolet exposure.
Second meter box with an IP55 minimum rated CU inside of it.
