After a pir has been done and you carry out the repairs detail on the schedule do you then issue another pir as no new circuits have been installed only extra bonding to bring the Zs reading down and fitting banjos to swa cables and replace 2 mem switch fused isolators due to broken covers
hi guys done a pir on a big ol' place recently, place is a mess, one of the things i noted was no main bond to water (well that i couldn't find it)! anyways im back there now making the place safe and me, owners, plumber, and builders cannot locate the incoming water! :confused: where do i go...

I have a problem with a light tripping a rcd etc.
All the circuit tests out good.
No tripping when a bulb not in and voltage is correct when i put across L and N
When i place a bulb in the fitting it trips.
Any ideas chaps ?

Need to get a copy of the 17th edition wiring regulations and 'Guidance note 3' books. Where is best (cheapest) to get them from? Or does anyone on here have these for sale at a good price ;)

Just wondered what other sparky's view on where main bonding is not in place when you look at a job(no matter how small)
ive been told buy my part p assessor that if the main bonding is not in place you should say to the customer that this needs to be done before any electrical work...
