Surface Meter tails, in plastic conduit?
I'm quoting for a CU change, where I'll be replacing the meter tails (because of length). I will have to run the tails on the surface (less than 3m) on the outside wall. Led remote control colour changing lighting problem

Probably a stupid question, but.....
I've got a cooker hood, which I bought because it moves a big volume of air. (Typical bloke, I wanted more power). However. Despite using large bore ducting to vent it, it's still quite noisy even on the lowest setting. I'm wondering what would be involved to slow the lowest fan setting down...- GT1

Why 54.5VDC float voltage in a 48VDC system?
