Hi,

I have a 3 way setup in my bedroom and would like to put in three 3-position momentary/retractive switches but was wondering how would the wiring look like for the central momentary switch or otherwise known as a intermediate switch(if was a toggle switch)?

At the moment I cannot find any "intermediate" momentary/retractive switches just 2-way, so not sure how the wiring will work as from my knowledge the momentary/retractive switchs only have 3 connections from the rear where a toggle intermediate switch has 4 connections.

This setup is so I can eventually add z-wave dimmers in.

Conventional intermediate switches aren't required, centre off retractive switches will be connected in parallel.

Hi DefyG, if possible can you take a look at this, is this a centre off retractive switch by any chance?
