Hi,

New to the group.
I am looking at expanding the number of panels on the roof with an additional inverter and currently have an application into the DNO but I have 2 questions as trying to workout the best layout within the garage. I don't want to engage an installer at this stage unless the DNO approve.

Q1 : How close can I mount the inverter to a gas pipe and can that be mitigated by enclosing said pipe ?

Q2 : Can you wire the existing generation meter to monitor both inverters ? my thought are yes but want confirmation.
If so, then can it be done by the following : meter tails to master switch in CU, then to the generation meter and then back into the CU into a 63A RCD which will feed 1x 32A and 1x 20A MCB (inverters), 1x 6A MCB (2x EM115 meters) 1x 6A MCB (tigo CCA)

Thanks for your time.
