I'm not asking for help on wiring just wondered what other people would do in the same situation.

Go to wire up a new boiler, boiler going back in existing position.
Boiler requires pump over run.
Boiler one side of house, airing cupboard other side of house.
All existing controls wired up correctly and staying as they are.

Do you:
Take 3 core HR flex directly from boiler to pump
or
Take T+E from boiler to pump, single pattress and blank plate with flex outlet at both points, hr flex to boiler and pump.

I think both ways are fine, but would be a lot easier to just chuck in the hr flex
