Hi all, just wondering if I can get some feedback on warranty claims for your power tools which manufacturer offers the best service, Makita, Bosch, Milwaukee, Hitachi, Panasonic, Hilti etc....

I used to use Bosch 36v and 10.8v , sent a few drills in on warranty and they had superb service, either fixed like new in 2-3 door to door of a new replacement, but the GOP kept killing the 10.8v batteries, I was offered a good price for the lot so fancying a change too I decided to try Dewalt's 18v XR kit but found that I have had poor repair service from Dewalt, My SDS went in for service for over a week (which ain't too bad) but it came back the same :sad3:, and radio died after a week so sent off for repair over 2 weeks later it came back the same WTF ?? rang Dewalt complaining about the repair time and that it hadn't even been repaired and that I had a repair with Bosch for a drill in 2-3 day turnaround, she said "well it's only a radio" yeah it's the most important tool for a start !!, and seen as I paid nearly £200 for it 3 weeks ago I'd expect it to last a little longer than a week  so sent it away again was back in just under 2 weeks fixed.

So just wanted some feedback before I purchase a new Bosch drill.

Cheers.

If it's warranty and after service your looking for then Hilti is the one you want!!.

2 years, absolutely no cost service promise, maximum 72hr turn around and possibly the best service I've ever had!!.

The no cost promise also covers routine servicing if your a bit ---- about having tools regularly serviced like I am

Same here for Hilti, they've kept my little TE5 going for years! :)

Expensive to buy in the first place mind...
