Discuss best practice for flat with solid floor and ceiling in the Australia area at ElectriciansForums.net

I've got to do some work in a 1st floor flat where the ceilings and floor are solid block. The customer would like a new shower circuit but ideally doesn't want cables surface mounted. There is no access above or below (other flats)
What suggestions for the best way to run cables?
The flat is being completely renovated for new tenants.

Ask if they'd like the ceiling lowering( get it battened out and run cables above) or other option would be coving trunking

coving trunking cheapest option. even clip cable along ceiling/wall join then stick up some plaster or polystyrene coving.

Round the outside... round the out side...... hehe...

Take it up the outside wall in suitable protection conduit/trunking? obviously keeping things looking nice it depends what type of external Finnish the building has.

That'd be a more cheaper way for the customer.
