my missus a while back saw some conduit in one of those glossy mags and wanted it in our kitchen haven't got around to it yet!
The missus was watching Big Brother and remarked how she liked a light they have in the house, I had a look and it's just a bit of conduit and some boxes.

Where's the pyro? Looks like black flex in a brass stuffing gland to me, pyro glands don't look like that normally.
I think I've heard about them, referred to as wedge-pots and fitted with a tool that was a bit like a pair of mole grips?
But...."many of his bespoke table designs incorporate hand bent steel tubing", so gotta be worth the money
This explains why it's worth the money. I have to use a conduit bender to bend mine.
So yours would be "Andy's design's incorporate the highest grade steel tubing, lovingly hand-contoured using the finest British-made forming equipment from world-renowned forges..."

Competition for Marvo's Cu tube lamp!
I think this proves the old saying about a fool and his money. It's bloody hideous but if some knacker wants to pay a kick in the backside off £300 I might start making something similar
This reminds me of that "optimist" who had a go at painting a union flag on a cable reel and wanted 100 quid for it as a table.

"Oh jah, it's 'industrial chic' - stuff which you think is 'fun' and 'quirky' because you work in an office and have never seen it before. It's actually made from offcuts of really common stuff which I found in a skip, but I saw you coming..."

I wonder how many times that's been up for offer. It must be 12 months since I last saw it.
"Upcycled"....I like that.
