Is there any point in replacing the broken screen on a an LCD TV?

Will it be cost effective?

Where can I go for a replacement?

Is it better to replace the TV with a new model instead?

make sure you've got accidental damage cover on your house insurance, then drop it.

Are you sure it's the panel (and for example not just the backlight failed). Can be a lot of reasons the screen won't appear to work.

Same as above, treat yourself to a nice new OLED TV :D

i was being facetious there. i meant rugby union, but there's no point till wales stop playing like a bunch of schoolgirls.

OLED TV's do not exist yet in the consumer market because of inherent problems with blue OLED dies. Don't get confused by all this LED TV marketing crap that is really an LCD TV with LED backlight
