Help needed please
I am changing an old light switch to a new one but there are so many connections in the old one I don't know what to do. It's a really small job and any advice would be welcomd

A pic would be nice, but you seem out of your depth here so recommend getting an electrician in to take a look at it for you.

Steve the only advice I can offer is, leave it alone and get an Electrician to do it for you.

Show a pic of the old switch and a pic for the back of the new switch.

As what @westward10 has said. show us a pic of the switch with the existing wiring in and also a pic of the back of the new switch and we might be able to help.
Make sure you safely isolate the circuit before taking the pic.
