City and guilds are useless!

Does anyone know how to go about complaining to city and guilds? Anyone had terrible service from them like myself??

I’ve been waiting 6 weeks for my 2391 certification. It’s supposed to take 7-10 days. No help what so ever from their “customer service “ department. They’re refusing to send me out an e-certificate that I can use in the mean time. The test centre I did it with are being just as, if not even more unhelpful. Misinformation from both sides. I’ve made 8 phone calls today between the pair of them and I’m no better off than I was before I started.

Any suggestions?

Welcome to the real world where there is no rush to do anything except take your money,once you have paid there is no rush whatsoever

If he carries on ranting at c&g he might be the only person not to get a certificate (I am presuming he actually passed the exam)

Not in my experience,sounds about average

Sounds like the thing they would say to you when you are enquiring about paying for the course...'yes sir just pay the fee and you will get your certificate in 7-10 days'...

Would be a more exciting story if that were the case. Unfortunately I’m waiting for it in order to accept a contract offer, which is looking like going to a competitor if they don’t pull their finger out

Supposedly the testing centre I did it with have access to the e-certs but they’re telling me they don’t! I smell a wind up and to be fair it’s working!

I have just sat the 18th edition exam and was told the certificate will arrive at my address in no more than 3 weeks.

I have always recieved my City and Guilds certificates from the training center or college I have attended, dont ever recall them sending me my certs directly to myself.

All my certificates barring my college apprenticeship days have been sent by post.
That includes 17th edition and my inspection and testing certificates.
I did the 18th edition online with Xs training and took the exam at pass Stockton-on-Tees who said it will be sent out to my address which they verified with me after the exam.

That’s 7-10 days to send them to my training provider, who said they would phone me so I could go pick them up

Ridiculous mate. If they hadn’t said it’d be so quick then it wouldn’t bother me as much as it is. As far as I’m concerned if you say something then you stick to it and make sure you follow it through.

I was going to say - it will only come if your test centre are paid up and have confirmed their end. Call them every day. Tell them you need it for a job. Mine have all taken a couple of weeks to arrive.

Been calling them daily mate but it’s doing nothing but pi****g both parties off! Seem to be getting nowhere fast while banishing my head against a brick wall

Because they told him 7 to 10 days and he needs the certificate for work.
