hello fellas iv just had a combi boiler fitted i need to fit the programble thermostat with remote control any body knw how its wired up any help would be great cheers

hi the combi is a glow worm cx i 38 and the prograble timer is a salus rt500rf hope this helps cheers

Firstly install RF reciever with 240v mains supply live and neutral to power up reciever
Use wiring diagram for volt free application
Then two core from RF reciever COM and NO (volt free) to 0v and 24v of boiler(I think there is a link accross these two).you need to remove the link.(page 35 of combi installation& servicing manual diagram 11.2)
Remember to disable boiler controls as described in 11.4.

Hope this has helped

I normally install the RF reciever as close to the boiler as I can and use the boiler supply(L+N) to supply the reciever, this means if you isolate the boiler you isolate the reciever. This also means the two core for 24v + 0v is easy to install.
Should not take you long
