not very likely someone will nail cable in trunking.
That's a piece of mini trunking containing a shower cable that I installed a few years earlier. Painted over and a screw inserted!

Its a landing light so youre right theres lots of cables in the loft, but the switch is on the ground floor.HHD why did he run a supply from under the boards then up through to the loft when there would be a lighting feed in the loft already ? I must be missing something ?
