I would do as just explained, set the conduit to boxes.
Avoid using BESA boxes, bend the conduit instead of using an angle box. I think if you need them you could probably get away without a set to the tube if you use distance saddles, hospital saddles however will give more of a gap to the wall.
Not sure I'd agree. Spacer bar saddles are pretty much always used with galv here.Exactly as stated above, distance saddles are the norm. Very rarely see spacer saddles used with Galv conduit.

Not around here they're not, the majority of steel conduit installs I see are with spacer bar saddles.
