I would do as just explained, set the conduit to boxes.

Avoid using BESA boxes, bend the conduit instead of using an angle box. I think if you need them you could probably get away without a set to the tube if you use distance saddles, hospital saddles however will give more of a gap to the wall.

Exactly as stated above, distance saddles are the norm. Very rarely see spacer saddles used with Galv conduit.

See galv spacer saddles used more with white plastic conduit more than anything

Not sure I'd agree. Spacer bar saddles are pretty much always used with galv here.

Not around here they're not, the majority of steel conduit installs I see are with spacer bar saddles.

It must be preferences in certain areas, I very rarely see a Galv conduit installation with spacer bar saddles and I have never installed a spacer bar on galv conduit in my life. Both looks as neat as each other I guess, just preference I suppose.

We use hospital saddles, client wants all boxes floating, so saddles are fixed close to boxes etc.. all for cleaning and it's stainless gear

Same as @Risteard always used spacer bar saddles, even in college during my first years training and for the AM1.
