Discuss Contactor and Underfloor Heating in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

I have a flat that has Up and Under Heating system. The ceiling heating is fine.

The underfloor heating has not worked for 18 months plus.

There is an outside Pactrol sensor, which feeds into a Pactrol Weather Watcher control unit, which feeds into a Benedikt & Jager K2-23A10 Contactor.

I have replaced the Pactrol Sensor and Weather Watcher. The heating works BUT the contactor continuously clicks the whole night. I have tried the dial on several settings with the same result. Is there an issue with contactor, does it need replacing or just something simpler?

I have tried to upload a video but it will not work.

As a side note the heating works on the full setting, however the heat is unbearable, way too hot!20151208_071647[1].jpg
