Does anyone know when the cut off date is for being allowed to sit a 17th edition update course or having to do the complete 17th edition regs. course?
I finished my apprenticeship back in 2000, but did 2391 in Aug. 2008.

I believe that if the 16th was done before 2001 you may have to sit the full exam 60 questions rather than the updated version with 30 questions. Not 100%?

Maybe someone else can comment?

Both correct, but with your experiance I would see if you can do the one day update course but take the full 60 question paper.

You'll breeze it and save yourself about £300

Yep Andy, myself and a mate of mine did just that.

We both went on the one day update course but sat the 2hr exam. As you said it saved us both quite a few bob.
