Hi All,

A family member is looking to having their consumer unit change to a larger one with Rcbo's.

I have seen a 36 way wylex board WYLNMDRS36SSLHA however it is a dual rcd.
Can the rcd's be removed and board used solely with Rcbo's?

I told them I would try to find out for them.

Many thanks

Probably not, the upper and lower busbars will become too short and how would you link the upper tier to the lower without the rcd links.
