I fitted a new circuit, upon testing, the EFLI was 1.29 ohms on a TN-S system.I rang up the DNO for advice, and was told that is an emergency, we'll be there within 2 hours. There was no point me hanging around, so I went to my next job. I caught up with the houseowner today, and asked what happened. She said the DNO man did some tests, then cut off all power to the street, then did something in the next door house, and everything was fine then. What could be the problem in next door that affects the EFLI?

probably the supply comes from next door....from out of the service head next door ....and into the service head here....just because there was a head here doesn`t mean the supply isn`t shared.....quite common on terrace houses and some semis.....
