I don't think this has a large enough surface area for what's required. The minimum lattice mat or solid plate size is 600x600 for lightning conductors and there isn't any guidance for things like this.

Don't get me wrong it probably would help. I just have a biased opinion to the traditional methods and I honestly haven't tried anything else. All we use is rods, mats, ring tape or foundation earthing. It's not an industry that modernises quickly unfortunately.I was thinking along the lines of the stuff being used in addition to other means of earthing to increase area and help reduce Ra
