Hallo there! I Have to install emergency lightimg in beauty salon, they will only go on in case of power failure, no overriding needed, can i use PVC t&e? Or it is a must for third cor? Thank you
 
third core only if your switching lamp/overriding ie. a maintained fitting with facility to switch lamp on/off for use while occupied perhaps. in short then no, just run permenant supply to them with a test point/s acsessable for testing and maintainance. as to the cable then all depends on the installation
 
You should make sure that FP isnt required, other than that T&E should be fine.
