Got an ex council house to rewire

I'll ignore the sarcastic ones.

I honestly didn't think my question was sarcastic, although I am perhaps a tad on the aspergers spectrum so it could perhaps come across as sarcastic I'm not sure. I was just being factual and genuinely interested in what your job role was. I counted out electrician and domestic installer for the reasons stated and thought perhaps someone who's just worked in industrial, or maybe you've been out of the trade for a while.

My job. Electrician
When I qualified there wasn't such a thing as a domestic installer.
We didn't have a scheme run by private companies either. And you don't have to be a scheme member to do electrical works. That's for building regs, part p et Al. The LA can sign off you domestic work.

When I qualified, the brighter ones went onto industrial. The others who struggled with maths went onto house bashing and site work.
My original post stared I had drums of singles on the van. I rarely use t&e as most of my work is industrial.

That doesn't really make a lot of sense. You would know that singles cables need containing in any situation or sheathed cables should be used. Nothing to do with building regs, schemes etc.

Keeping it constructive, if you rarely use twin and earth it would be useful get acquainted with table 4D5 and installation methods 100 to 103. Twin and earth in stoothing walls with insulation can be severely derated and have a huge effect on your calcs.

on the plus side. you don't need a builder. a reasonably sane wood butcher could do it.
