HMO property wants an annual periodic inspection cert for a grade D mains linked smoke alarm system.
Far as I'm aware only installation and commisioning grade D fire detection system certs exists, and it's not actually recommended to give out annual periodics for these grade D smokes?
Wiring is obviously tested on the EICR, but if the push button test, sound check, smoke/aerosol test etc are to be checked what cert exactly do you put that on? Just give them a written note to say they've been checked? The grade A fire alarm periodic cert is a bit of overkill for these grade D systems.
Thanks in advance
