Just bought 20 holders for a 12v-GU10 conversion job. Are they making the leads shorter now ? ! By the time they are enclosed in a Wago box .There is not a lot of cable left !

Most 'off the shelf' GU10 holders come with about 5 inches of wire

I have seen some GU10 holders with extra long wires but these are usually special order

How much wire is on the ones you bought ?

Be quicker and better to fit new fittings surely? Can be had for £4 a can in jcc. Push fit terminals too, wago box, lamp holder and wagos must come to £3 per time?
they are one of those dumb sizes .probably fittings that where sold in B&Q in the 80s ! They just wanted a fast option .
