Hello All
Has anyone come across a problem fitting the front cover on the Hager Design 10 board over some RCBOs and a Disconnector switch? The hole in the cover doesn’t line up exactly with the devices and needs a bit of a push up to get the cover over them. Ie engage hole on underside of devices and then push it up slightly so cover then fits over the top of the enclosure. I’m not sure whether this is correct, I would have assumed the cover would just fit. I did look at the three fixing screws for the din rail but there doesn’t seem to be any adjustment.

Is this normal?

Thanks for any advice/ opinions

The wall it’s mounted to is either cock-eyed or the tails are too tight and pulling on the din rail twisting the board. I’ve never had an issue with Hager or fuse box, niglon do a tough board too. all others I’ve used twist

I've come across CUs of all makes over the years, where the front doesn't seem to fit properly, and the problem has been, in all cases, that the back is being distorted by being forced by the fixing screws onto a surface that isn't quite flat.
Cure is to slacken each fixing screw in turn, and include a packing piece or washer between the box and wall when the problem is identified.

Mcg, fusebox, mk and all other cheap brands ive had the pleasure of using twist and mcg in particular have even been difficult to get the lid on but I would expect better from hager. Not a brand I use but I expect something is causing it to happen? Or possibly a slight fault with unit itself
