I have been asked to quote to maintain a offices electrics and pat test. The thing is what to charge?
the office is basically a large detached house converted to an office, cat2 lighting ect.
could somebody please advise?

charge by the hour, + any materials used.

There are lots of variables to consider before really giving a price for this sort of work.

1. What are you expected to maintain.
2. What sort of timescale from call to actually attending is required.
3. Will all remedial work be included in your price.
4. Will your price only cover so many call outs.

And will they expect out of hours? Usually office maintenance means before 8am, after 5pm or weekends, so check that out and factor it in if necessary.
