Hello. Could anyone tell me how to remove this type of pir on an optima xm6 system. As shown in the attachment the pir has a hole underneath the cover. However, when checking this there appears to be no screw to release and remove the front cover . The pir appears to be attached to a bracket at the back. No screws showing at the back either. In the event i need to replace one of these is anyone familiar with it. How do you open the cover and remove it when replacing a faulty pir. Guessing, i think you either pull the body off the bracket which appears to be inserted in the back and is fixed to the ceiling or lever the front cover off with a screwdriver. I don't know the make as it is quite old. Anyone recognise it?

Remove the screw at the bottom and lift the front cover away.

Texecom is the make. small slotted driver in the bottom joint and twist. then code in panel/keypad to silence tamper alarm.

N.B. the PIR cover hooks on tabs at the top.
